- Development emphasis — Coaching philosophy toward developing player ability over time. When this coach has led the club for a whole season, the club's players aged 16 to 29 at that season's end develop slightly faster (high emphasis) or slower (low emphasis) — at most one point in a season, always within the league's normal development for their age. Values in the middle have no effect.

Tenure history
Every recorded coaching tenure. A tenure marked "records began" makes no claim about coaching before that point. A club run autonomously dismisses its coach only after two full seasons in charge, both finished in the lower third of the table, and then hires a replacement for the next season; a dismissed coach becomes available to other clubs. A coach generated for the market has no tenure until hired. Some retired players go on to coach: they start with no tenure, available for hire like any other candidate, with no preference from their former clubs.
